Maw-Sit-Sit - is a gemstone named for the locality where it is mined in upper Burma. Composed primarily of jadeite and albite, this tough and complex metamorphic rock is found only in Burma. As the material occurs in a variety of shades and patterns, it is extremely difficult to mix and match enough stones to produce even a few necklaces.
